The Hudson School District recognizes that learning can take place in a variety of situations, environments, and locations. We believe that online education can be an excellent opportunity for students looking for personalized learning that supports their unique needs and provides a flexible schedule.
In an effort to meet the needs of all learners, the Hudson School District launched the Hudson Virtual Academy in 2019. Since that time, hundreds of Hudson High School students have benefited from online and hybrid learning options through the Virtual Academy. In addition, the Hudson Virtual Charter School was launched in 2020. The Hudson Virtual Charter School allows students in grades 9-12 from anywhere in the State of Wisconsin to open-enroll into the Hudson School District and take advantage of our online courses or hybrid schedule options.
